SURFACES VENICE COLLECTION

Floating like water, architectural, vibrant, organic, iridescent. Precious surfaces like works of art that envelop spaces and create ever-changing worlds. This is ‘Superfici Venice Collection’, the first and revolutionary collection of boiserie by Materica, presented at the Milan Design Week 2024.

Superfici Venice Collection is enriched by the contribution of designers with a strong character and diversified artistic visions who have created five signature collections, each one the result of a unique interpretation created in synergy with Materica’s alchemic know-how: Matteo Cibic, Serena Confalonieri, DRAW Studio, Antonio Pio Saracino, STORAGEMILANO and GuardiniCiuffreda Studio. Each boiserie is born from the creative contamination between different processes and techniques. Metallization, carried out through high-speed casting and micronisation of pure metals (from brass to bronze, from copper to nickel silver, from aluminium to zinc) is combined from time to time with oxidation, laser etching, resin coating and natural pigmentations.
