“2024 will remain in the annals of Materica as a kind of “Year Zero”: one cycle closes, a new one begins.

About ten years ago, in fact, Materica’s transformation began, a transformation that started from industrial painting, for anticorrosive treatments, and led us to become a leading company in the world of architecture and design.

A decisive and risky jibe with only one goal: to become a worldwide reference point, with the awareness that this path would be a long, tiring, risky but certainly challenging and exciting one.

Year Zero because Materica’s transformation is almost complete even if it needs adjustments and improvements. The momentous step was presenting at the last MDW24 the first product made entirely by Materica: Superfici Venice Collection. It is a collection of surfaces, united by the common thread of metallization, that is, the wonderful technique that allows us to transform matter.

Using a parallelism, this is what happened to our company: we changed our skin, to be reborn, evolve and improve. The worthy conclusion of this exciting ride was the recent and as unexpected recognition: Archiproducts Design Awards. In fact, the “Magic Mirror” paneling won the prestigious award, decreed by an international jury, in the “finishes” category.

This award also represents the right recognition for all our precious collaborators and professionals who every day, with skill, passion and effort, create something magical, unique and innovative.

Therefore, I want to end this year with a tribute dedicated to them, because everyone has brought their own personal brick (metallized, of course.). They are the real architects of this transformation and our success.
