Summing up Materica’s 2023 in a few words proves challenging, as it has been so rich and satisfying that we might risk forgetting something. This year has been extraordinary for our company, that with its works such as the metallization, has demonstrated the capability to be the ideal partner for exceptional projects.
From the inception of an idea to the final product, Materica has once again shown mastery in managing the entire realization process, satisfying the demands of designers, architects, and artists. Metallization has played a central role in unique projects, such as “Sogni,” a collaboration with Antonioli and Storage Studio resulting in the creation of a magical atmosphere for a Milanese restaurant. Materica infused the interiors with beautiful paneling contributing to a unique and evocative effect.
Great projects deserve great stages. Two of Materica’s principal works were showcased at prestigious events. “Interna_Mente,” created with Guardini-Ciuffreda Studio, enchanted the Alcova area during Milan Design Week, while at the Salone dell’Alto Artigianato in Venice, we unveiled the thirty-two finishes of the Venice Collection table, a splendid homage to the Venetian capital. However, Materica’s 2023 also encompassed diverse works and projects, showcasing the company’s versatility and its ability to meet varied needs.
“If for some, 2023 might represent a culmination, for us at Materica, it must be the starting point for a journey leading to even greater results – commented Maurizio Orfino, Materica’s CEO – I am proud to lead this company because it is demonstrating the will to make a lasting impact. Credit goes to the extraordinary team working diligently day after day, allowing Materica to write pages and pages of an exceptional story.”
Materica’s 2023 has been marked by projects and events propelling the company into a new dimension within the realms of design, art, and architecture. The positioning is clear, with Materica utilizing metallization’s potential to emerge as a reference point in the market and an ideal partner for surprises. Now, however, it’s time to look to the future, as 2024 is approaching, and Materica is ready to face it with enthusiasm, expertise, and a constant pursuit of excellence and innovation. If 2023 was a great year, 2024 is poised to be no less remarkable.
