Materica: a year of confirmation and new achievements

For Materica, 2025 was a year of consolidation and growth, laying the foundations for the launch of new and exciting activities. The overall results were more than positive: our brand continues to establish itself as a point of reference in the high-end finishes sector, earning the trust of an ever-growing number of clients who now involve us well beyond the simple transformation of their products.

Looking back, it is striking to see how much the company has evolved over time.
Just fifteen years ago, Materica mainly operated as a third-party contractor in the field of industrial anticorrosion coatings.

Today, we collaborate with leading international brands, attracted by our finishes and by the uniqueness of our patented metallization technique, which in 2025 recorded an extraordinary growth of +67% compared to the previous year. This technology has become the driving force behind an expanding business, which also includes textured coatings, burnishing processes, and on-site applications carried out by specialized teams.

Despite geopolitical uncertainties that have particularly affected the window and door sector — with a slight downturn due to tariffs imposed by the U.S. government — the year saw significant development in other areas, especially on-site coatings and pictorial finishes for monumental architecture. To meet growing demand, we have organized international operational teams capable of working worldwide.

Aware that the market is constantly evolving, we have chosen to anticipate change and invest in our medium- to long-term vision. We therefore launched a major reorganization of our production facilities:

  • At our main site in Scorzè, we centralized all metallization, burnishing, and coating activities, introducing an innovative automated robotic system. At the same time, we made a strategic and sustainable choice by switching from solvent-based paints to water-based coatings, reaffirming our commitment to environmental responsibility.
  • At our Padua facility, all powder coating plants were relocated and enhanced. Here, we also began the certification process in accordance with the European Quality Steel Coat standard, ensuring high anticorrosion performance (C5 class) and providing additional value for clients in the window and door sector.

We firmly believe that the innovation, reorganization, and investments undertaken represent a necessary path toward the future. In an increasingly competitive market, only solid, well-structured companies with a strong collaborative approach can guarantee their partners a stable, prosperous, and long-lasting future.
